Jørn Lier Horst
Jørn Lier Horst (1970) is one of Norway's leading crime writers. He was a chief inspector in the police force and is well-versed in the environment and methods he writes about. His books are therefore a faithful portrayal of a police officer's daily life, both in terms of routines and emotions and conflicts.
He gained literary fame with the thrillers featuring detective William Wisting, a multi-award-winning series that topped bestseller lists and was adapted for television.
