J M Dalgliesh was born on the south coast of England and grew up in Hampshire. He currently lives in Norfolk with his wife and two children.
In 2018, House dividedHis first book was so successful that it reached the top of the Amazon charts in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia. The "Hidden Norfolk" and "Dark Yorkshire" series – thrillers police officers with a touch of noir Scandinavian –, have sold over two million copies. In 2020, the title Hear No Evil He was nominated for Amazon's Kindle Storyteller Award.
In 2025, it premiered in Portugal with The Perfect Woman, being The Family Doctor your most recent book.
