Isabel Abecassis Empis

Isabel Maria Abecassis Empis was born in Lisbon and is a psychologist and psychotherapist.
She graduated in Clinical Psychology from the University of Geneva. For sixteen years she was a lecturer at the university where she graduated, at the University of Lisbon and at ISPA.
In 1978 she became a member of the Portuguese Psychoanalytic Society and joined the Psychology teams at the Miguel Bombarda Hospital and the Child and Youth Mental Health Center in Lisbon.
He contributed to the magazine. Parents & ChildrenShe currently directs a continuing education course for psychotherapists and, at the request of various professional associations, gives lectures on the importance of psychology and psychoanalysis in improving professional relationships and performance.
Blessed are those who dare! It was his first book.
