Irene nasceu em Valência em 1973. É licenciada em Filosofia pela Universidade de Valência e formada em Educação Infantil. Sempre gostou de ler e escrever, mas foi enquanto estudava Pedagogia que se apaixonou pela literatura infantil. Atualmente, trabalha no Serviço de Biblioteca da Câmara Municipal de Oliva, em Valência. Tem publicado obras infantis em áreas tão diversas como a poesia, o teatro, o livro didático ou o conto.
