Hyewon Yum é uma autora e ilustradora sul-coreana de vários livros para crianças que têm sido aclamados pela crítica. Yum recebeu o prémio Ezra Jack Keats New Illustrator Award, uma menção honrosa do Charlotte Zolotow Award e outros prémios de ilustração. Nascida e criada na Coreia do Sul, vive atualmente em Brooklyn, Nova Iorque.
