Hugh Williams

Hugh Williams built a career in high-level positions in British television. At the BBC, he was responsible for current affairs, music, and the arts, and helped internationalize the channel by creating BBC World. The 50 Greatest Events in History This was a follow-up to the program "50 Things You Need to Know About British History," shown on the UK History Channel, and which gave rise to his first book.
