Holly Brickley was born in Canada. She moved to the United States at age 18, studied English at Berkeley, and earned a master's degree in Fiction from Columbia University. She currently lives in Portland with her husband and two daughters. Deep Cuts – A Song That's Just Ours, his first novel, went straight to the top of the bestseller lists. Los Angeles Times and USA todayIt is being adapted into a film starring Saoirse Ronan and Austin Butler in the lead roles.
