Hillary Rodham Clinton was the first woman in United States history to be nominated as a presidential candidate by one of the country's major political parties. She was the 67th Secretary of State, after nearly four decades of public service advocating for children and families as a lawyer, First Lady, and United States Senator. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, and author of seven books.
