Hervé Le Tellier nasceu em França, em 1957. Vencedor do Prémio Goncourt 2020, é autor de vários livros, que vão do romance ao conto, passando pela poesia e pelo teatro. Presidente do Oulipo (Ouvroir de Littérature Potentielle), formou-se em matemática e depois em jornalismo. Linguista e editor, publicou títulos como What a man!, de Georges Perec, e Je me souviens de «Je me souviens», de Roland Brasseur.
