Hermann

Hermann Huppen (1938 - 2026) was born in Belgium. After a 3-year stay in Canada, he returned to Brussels and got married. In 1966, Hermann began illustrating Bernard Prince, a series written by Greg and published in Tintin magazine.
After an incursion into the series Jugurtha (1967), for which he designed the first two volumes, Hermann resumes his collaboration with Greg in Comanche, a series that emerged in December 1969. Hermann received several awards throughout his career and, in 2016, was awarded the Grand Prize at the Angoulême International Comics Festival.
The first album in the series. DUKE It was published in Portugal in October 2017.
