Helene Flood

Helene Flood (n. 1982) é psicóloga e académica. Em 2016, concluiu o doutoramento com uma tese sobre violência, revitimização e a culpa pós-traumática. Atualmente, trabalha como psicóloga e investigadora no Centro Nacional para o Estudo da Violência e do Stress Traumático. Vive em Oslo, com o marido e dois filhos.
O Olhar Que Me Persegue, o seu romance de estreia, revelou-a como uma das vozes mais significativas do atual romance noir escandinavo, tendo os respetivos direitos sido adquiridos para cinema e vendidos para 28 países. O Amante é o segundo de três thrillers psicológicos autónomos, todos com protagonistas femininas e que têm por cenário a cidade de Oslo.
