Helena Vilela da Mota

Helena Vilela da Mota é natural de Amarante, mas viveu toda a sua infância e adolescência em Mafra. Engenheira Química de formação, sempre considerou a literatura uma das suas perdições, para além do chocolate. Desde muito cedo escreve pequenos poemas. Adora Fernando Pessoa e Florbela Espanca, não esquecendo também um bom policial! O nascimento das suas filhas despoletou o regresso ao mundo da fantasia com a invenção de pequenas histórias para elas. Participou em alguns concursos de escrita, nomeadamente contos infantis. "Tiago e o Bosque Verde" é o primeiro livro infantil publicado.
