Helena Hirata

Helena Hirata é filósofa pela USP, doutora em sociologia na Universidade de Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis, Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR), equivalente a livre-docência, na Université de Versailles-St-Quentin-en-Yvelines diretora de pesquisa emérita no Centro Nacional de Pesquisa Científica (CNRS) em França e pesquisadora colaboradora do Departamento de Sociologia da Universidade de São Paulo. É membro do diretório da rede internacional MAGE (Mercado de trabalho e género) e faz parte de muitos comités de redação de revistas, entre os quais o Cahiers du Genre. Pela Boitempo, publicou O cuidado, Gênero e trabalho no Brasil e na França e Nova divisão sexual do trabalho?.
