Heather Morris
Heather Morris was born in New Zealand and lives in Australia. For several years, while working in a public hospital in Melbourne, he studied and wrote screenplays. In 2003, she was introduced to an elderly man who "had a story worth telling." The day he met Lale Sokolov changed their lives, and as their friendship grew, Lale embarked on a journey into his past, entrusting the author with the most intimate details of his life during the Holocaust. Heather Morris wrote the first version of Lale's story as a screenplay, before turning it into her debut novel, The Tattoo Artist of Auschwitz, which became one of the biggest bestsellers of the 21st century, with more than 6 million copies sold worldwide. In addition to The Tattoo Artist of Auschwitz, Editorial Presença publishes, in Portugal, all of the author's work, which includes The Courage of Cilka, Three Sisters and Stories of Hope - How the Lives of Normal People Can Be Truly Inspiring.
