Hatebreed

Hatebreed é uma banda norte-americana de metalcore formada em 1994 em Bridgeport, Connecticut, por Jamey Jasta (voz), Frank Novinec (guitarra), Chris Beattie (baixo) e Wayne Lozinak (guitarra), com Matt Byrne na bateria. O seu som cru e direto funde ritmos de hardcore punk com o peso do heavy metal, sustentado por letras focadas em força interior e superação.

Em 1997 lançaram o EP Satisfaction Is the Death of Desire, que lhes valeu destaque imediato na cena underground. O álbum de estreia, Satisfaction Is the Death of Desire (1997), e o sucessor Perseverance (2002) cimentaram a reputação da banda, com hinos como "I Will Be Heard" e "Perseverance" a tornarem-se clássicos nos pit's de todo o mundo.

Com uma carreira que inclui discos como The Rise of Brutality (2003), Supremacy (2006), The Divinity of Purpose (2013) e Weight of the False Self (2020), Hatebreed mantém-se fiel à energia visceral que definiu o metalcore dos anos 2000. Ao vivo, são famosos pela intensidade explosiva dos concertos, onde Jasta conduz o público num coro de gritos de encorajamento e resistência.
