Guzel Iákhina

Guzel Iákhina é uma escritora e argumentista russa. Nasceu em Kazan, no Tartaristão, em 1977. Quando criança, falava tártaro em casa e só mais tarde, na escola, aprendeu a língua russa. Estudou Filologia Inglesa e Alemã na Universidade de Kazan, após o que se formou como argumentista na Escola de Cinema de Moscovo. Zuleikha Abre os Olhos, o seu primeiro romance, foi traduzido em mais de quarenta países e valeu à autora diversos prémios literários nacionais e internacionais, tendo sido adaptado para série de televisão e teatro.
