Günther Anders

Günther Anders (1902-1992), filósofo, ensaísta e feroz opositor da nuclearização do mundo, foi, tal como Hannah Arendt, sua companheira entre 1929 e 1937, aluno de Martin Heidegger. Estudou em Munique e Berlim, e doutorou-se em Filosofia em 1923. Filho de intelectuais judeus, denunciou nos anos 30 a ameaça da ascensão nazi, que o obrigou a refugiar-se em Paris e, mais tarde, a exilar-se nos EUA. O trauma do Holocausto e o horror dos bombardeamentos de Hiroxima e Nagasáqui, a par do impacto da tecnologia na sociedade, que analisou em Die Antiquiertheit des Menschen [A Obsolescência do Homem] (1956 e 1980), dominaram a sua reflexão.
