Guillermo Del Toro

Guillermo Del Toro é um dos artistas mais visionários da sua geração, cujo estilo distintivo transparece através do seu trabalho como realizador, argumentista, produtor e autor. Nascido no México, del Toro ganhou o reconhecimento internacional em 1993 com a coprodução de Cronos, um filme de terror sobrenatural. Em 2004 foi coautor do argumento e realizador do thriller Hellboy. Foi internacionalmente aclamado pela criação do drama de fantasia O Labirinto do Fauno, um filme que recebeu mais de 40 prémios internacionais e foi considerado um dos melhores do ano. Em 2009 lançou o livro A Estirpe em coautoria com Chuck Hogan. Este viria a ser o primeiro título de uma trilogia de sucesso, já adaptada para televisão.
