Guillermo Del Toro
Guillermo Del Toro is one of the most visionary artists of his generation, whose distinctive style shines through in his work as a director, writer, producer, and author. Born in Mexico, del Toro gained international recognition in 1993 with the co-production of Cronos, a supernatural horror film. In 2004 he co-wrote and directed the thriller HellboyHe received international acclaim for creating fantasy dramas. Pan's Labyrinth, a film that received more than 40 international awards and was considered one of the best of the year. In 2009 he published the book The Strain co-authored with Chuck Hogan. This would become the first title in a successful trilogy, already adapted for television.
