Guido Marini é mestre das Celebrações Litúrgicas Pontifícias e Prelado de Honra de Sua Santidade desde 2007. Sacerdote da Arquidiocese de Génova, obteve o doutoramento na Pontifícia Universidade Lateranense e o bacharelado em Psicologia da Comunicação na Pontifícia Universidade Salesiana. Ex-secretário particular e mestre em celebrações litúrgicas de quatro arcebispos, também ocupou na diocese os cargos de diretor do Escritório Diocesano para a Educação e a Escola, Chanceler Arquiepiscopal, Professor de Direito Canónico e Teologia dos Ministérios na Faculdade Teológica do Norte da Itália - Secção de Génova e Instituto Superior de Ciências da Religião e diretor espiritual do Seminário.
