Glen Cook was born in 1944 and grew up in California. He served in the Navy and graduated with a degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri. Since 1971 he has published several fantasy and science fiction novels. After working for many years in General MotorsHe became a full-time writer after retiring. He lives with his wife Carol in St. Louis, Missouri.
