Giovanni Reale

Giovanni Reale (1931-2014) foi um historiador de filosofia italiano. Estudou na Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore de Milão e, mais tarde, em Marburg an der Lahn e em Munique. Depois de ensinar em escolas secundárias, adquiriu uma cátedra na Universidade de Parma, onde lecionou cursos de Filosofia Moral e História da Filosofia. Regressou posteriormente à Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore de Milão, onde foi professor de História da Filosofia Antiga por muitos anos e onde também fundou o Centro di Ricerche di Metafisica. Em 2005, foi lecionar na nova Faculdade de Filosofia da Universidade Vita-Salute San Raffaele, em Milão.
