Giorgio Baffo

Giorgio Baffo nasceu em Veneza em 11 de agosto de 1694, sendo o último descendente de uma família que durante séculos participara ativamente na vida política da república. É conhecido sobretudo pelas suas composições licenciosas em dialeto venezianos, mas escreveu também contra a corrupção da sua cidade, em particular do clero.
