Gervasio Posadas (Montevideu, Uruguai, 1962) trabalhou durante muitos anos no mundo da publicidade. Em 2007 publicou o seu primeiro romance, El secreto del gaspacho, uma sátira urbana na qual ironiza acerca dos manuais de autoajuda.
