The writer Germano Zullo and the illustrator Albertine are a couple and an award-winning duo who, since 1999, have dedicated themselves to creating and illustrating children's and young adult books. The Birds This is their debut in Portugal and in the Orfeu Mini collection.
With the album The Birds, won the Prix Sorcières in 2011, awarded by Association des Bibliothécaires de France, and in 2012 the award for Best Illustrated Children's Book, from the newspaper The New York Times newspaper.
