George Berkeley

George Berkeley (1685-1753), filósofo irlandês, metafísico talentoso e defensor do idealismo, é considerado, a par de John Locke e David Hume, como um dos três mais famosos empiristas britânicos. Para além da filosofia, o seu interesse abrangia áreas tão diversificadas quanto a religião, matemática, física, moral, economia e medicina.
