Frei Fernando Ventura

Fr. Fernando Ventura, franciscano capuchinho, nasceu em 1959, na Senhora da Hora, Matosinhos. Fez os seus estudos no Porto, em Bordéus, em Lisboa e em Roma. É licenciado em Teologia pela Universidade Católica Portuguesa e em Ciências Bíblicas pelo Pontifício Instituto Bíblico de Roma. Foi professor do ensino secundário e do ensino superior, fez rádio, é comentador televisivo, autor de inúmeros artigos em publicações nacionais e estrangeiras, para além de organizador de eventos, conferências e retiros um pouco por todo o mundo. Em 2010, foi Figura do Ano para a rádio TSF. É diretor da revista Bíblica, tradutor/intérprete da Santa Sé e responsável pelo Banco de Leite de S. Tomé e Príncipe (www.bancodeleite.pt). Publicou quatro livros, três dos quais com o jornalista Joaquim Franco.
