Frederico Pedreira

Frederico Pedreira nasceu em 1983. Publicou vários livros de prosa e de poesia, entre os quais Doze Passos Atrás, Presa Comum, Fazer de Morto, A Noite Inteira, A Lição do Sonâmbulo e o livro de ensaios Uma Aproximação à Estranheza. Traduziu livros de poesia de W. B. Yeats, Louise Glück e Dylan Thomas, ensaios de G. K. Chesterton e George Orwell, e romances de Dickens, Swift, Wells, Hardy e Banville, entre outros. Colaborou na secção de cultura de alguns periódicos nacionais. Doutorou-se no Programa em Teoria da Literatura da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. Venceu o Prémio INCM/Vasco Graça Moura na categoria de Ensaio (2016) e o Prémio Autores SPA para Melhor Livro de Poesia (2022), com Coração Lento, a sua estreia na Assírio & Alvim.
