Estuda no Liceu Artístico de Lucca e integra a Academia de Belas Artes de Carrara em 1998, ano em que iniciou uma colaboração com a Companhia Walt Disney, desenhando algumas histórias para o semanário Mickey e a mensal Minnie.
Em 2001, juntou-se à revista Witch. Em 2001. Entre suas outras publicações, capas e várias ilustrações para "Monster Allergy" e participação na colorização artística da BD Disney "Lilo e Stitch". Colabora nas obras "Richard Coeur de Lion" e "Rocambole". Atinge grande sucesso com a série "Love" e "The Little Histories", duas séries que são nomeadas várias vezes para os Eisner Awards.
Em Angoulême 2019 vence o Prémio Bdgest'Arts Melhor álbum da juventude: "Brindille T. 1" - Vents d’Ouest (Glénat).
