Engenheiro envolvido em consultoria sobre máquinas de processo. Antes de se reformar na Esso/Exxon Mobil, após mais de três décadas de trabalho, atuou como Especialista Regional de Máquinas da Exxon Chemical, ocupando posições corporativas e de grande responsabilidade em subsidiárias da Exxon na França. Missões de melhoria de confiabilidade levaram Geitner a plantas de processo e manufaturas em pelo menos 17 países. Ele continua a conduzir cursos abertos e in-company em todo o mundo.
