Frank Tallis
Dr. Frank Tallis is a writer and clinical psychologist.
He was a professor of Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neuroscience at King's College London.
He has published over 30 scientific articles in international journals and is the author of an academic book on obsessive-compulsive disorder, as well as four books on psychology aimed at the general public. Changing Minds (a history of psychotherapy) Dark Minds (a story of the subconscious) Lovesick (an investigation into the relationship between romantic ideals and mental disorders) and, in 2018, The Incurable Romantic.
At the same time, he wrote nine novels, which earned him several distinctions such as the Arts Council of Great Britain Writers' Award (1999), and the New London Writers' Award (2000).
She was also a finalist for the Ellis Peters Historical Dagger Award, the Quais du Polar Award, the Medical Journalist’s Association fiction award, and the Elle Prix de Letrice.
