François Schuiten
Born into a family where architecture plays an important role, François Schuiten is a screenwriter and designer. He produced Aux medianes de Cymbiola and Le Rail with Claude Renard and then with Luc Schuiten, the cycle Les Terres HollowsSince 1983, he has worked with Benoît Peeters on the series. Les Cités obscures and Revoir Paris, whose last volume was published in 2016.
In 2012, he published La Douce as a complete author. In 2002, he received the Grand Prize at the Angoulême Comics Festival. He also decorated several subway stations, designed pavilions for world's fairs, and designed the Train World Museum in Brussels.
