Francisco Malta Romeiras

Francisco Malta Romeiras é investigador no Departamento de História e Filosofia das Ciências (Faculdade de Ciências, Universidade de Lisboa). Em 2019 foi Visiting Researcher na Universidade de Oxford e em 2017 foi Senior Research Fellow no Boston College. Os seus interesses de investigação incluem as relações entre ciência e religião, as práticas educativas e científicas dos jesuítas, e a história do livro científico. Recentemente, publicou A Biblioteca Erudita de Campolide: A história de uma biblioteca dispersa pela República (Lucerna, 2022) e Os jesuítas em Portugal depois de Pombal. História ilustrada (Lucerna, 2018). É ainda o autor de Jesuits and the Book of Nature: Science and Education in Modern Portugal (Brill, 2019).
