Rossas, Vieira do Minho, 1960 estudou História na FULPorto, foi professor três anos e jornalista durante quase três décadas. Dedica-se hoje à escrita a tempo inteiro e é o atual presidente da Associação dos Jornalistas e Homens de Letras do Porto. Autor premiado, tem editados mais de três dezenas de livros, entre obras de ficção, poesia e literatura infantil, além de quase outros tantos textos de que foi coautor ou organizador.
