Francisco Camacho
Francisco Camacho is the author of the novels Niassa, a story set in deep Africa, distinguished with the P.E.N. Club award in the First Work category, and The Last Song of the Nighta mystery on the road imbued with music, which was translated into French with the title Dernier chanson avant la nuiBorn in Funchal, but a resident of Lisbon since a very young age, he was a journalist for twenty years. He held editorial and management positions in publications such as The Independent, In-depth report, Around the World, NS, Saturday and newspaper IHe received the Portuguese Press Club Award (breakthrough) for reporting in Great Britain, and the Fernando Pessoa Journalism Award (Mapfre Vida Foundation) for reporting in Mozambique. He was the editorial director of A Esfera dos Livros and is an editor at Grupo LeYa in the non-fiction area.
