Francisca Favas
Francisca Favas was born in 1970. She grew up and lives in the most Manueline village in Portugal, Freixo de Espada à Cinta, the land of Guerra Junqueiro and missionaries.
He soon left, like so many of his countrymen, to study in the city of Matosinhos, where he completed the 12th grade. Later, he graduated in Law from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança.
She has been an employee of the Freixo de Espada à Cinta Municipal Council since 1992. Currently, she works at the local Commission for the Protection of Children and Young People (CPCJ), where she has served as President since 2022.
Children and young people are her motivation. A mother of two adult sons, Afonso and Lourenço, she believes that we are all called to contribute to a better society. It is within the family that values, principles, and character flourish. Being a mother was, is, and will be her life's mission. In her free time, she occupies herself helping children and young people with their studies, reading, listening to music, and writing. She tries to reconcile the naive spirit of a child with the attitudes of a wise elder. She tries.
