Nascido no Brasil fez a sua profissão perpétua em 2007 e está em Portugal desde 2008. É conselheiro geral da Sociedade São Paulo tendo desempenhado a função de diretor editorial da PAULUS Editora, bem como de conselheiro regional e secretário da Sociedade São Paulo em Portugal. É formado em Filosofia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas, em Teologia pela Faculdade Jesuíta de Belo Horizonte e recebeu o título de Mestre em Comunicação, Cultura e Tecnologias da Informação pelo ISCTE-IUL
