Filipa Gomes
Andreia Filipa Martinho Gomes (better known as Filipa Gomes) was born on September 6, 1980, in São Sebastião da Pedreira and lived until she was 20 years old in a typical Lisbon neighborhood, Ajuda.
At age 21, she received the gift of becoming a mother to a girl named Ariana, who has been her only love and faithful companion to this day.
Before becoming a mother, she enrolled in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Lisbon, in the Modern Languages and Literatures course, specializing in Portuguese/German, and after graduating she pursued a career in teaching those same languages.
During that period, her writing was limited to entries in a simple diary, to small notes; leaving behind her internal dialogues and conflicts, which she resumed in September 2015, when she created the page. Animal Kingdom Rational.
This public exposure, albeit anonymous, stemmed from her need to not feel alone, to find someone who shared the same feelings/anguish/doubts and, perhaps, to help those who read the texts.
Today, her posts are seen by hundreds of people, commented on by many... And her only wishes are to continue reaching more and more people, helping them deal with their existential questions through the power of words, while trying to rediscover her... true Me that remained unconsciously in the past.
