Filipa Fonseca Silva nasceu no Barreiro em 1979.
Estreou-se na literatura em 2011 com Os 30 - nada é como sonhámos, única obra de um autor português a atingir o Top 100 de Amazon. Desde então, publicou mais de 10 livros, vários deles traduzidos e finalistas de prémios literários, navegando entre romance, conto, crónica, ensaio e literatura infantil. De prosa afiada e sensível, é uma das autoras portuguesas mais adaptadas para cinema, com três obras em desenvolvimento audiovisual.
Feminista, ecologista, fundadora do Clube das Mulheres Escritoras, gosta de explorar temas contemporâneos e dilemas intemporais.
