Natural de Minde onde viveu até aos 29 anos.
Nasceu a 13 de dezembro de 1945.
Os pais decidiram dar-lhe esse nome por ter nascido num dia 13.
Foi em Fátima que estudou, num curso noturno, até ao 7º ano dos liceus.
Pretendia tirar o curso de farmácia onde ingressou, mas decidiu seguir economia.
Em pequena sempre sonhou em cantar e seguir essa carreira, mas em vão. Outros foram os rumos.
Atualmente vive em Lisboa.
Educada na religião católica, assume-se cristã.
