Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé é uma autora premiada, bestseller do New York Times e internacionalmente conhecida pelos seus livros Ás de Espadas, A Cama Onde Elas se Deitam e pelo Quatro Festas e um Funeral, livro no qual é coautora. Ela também escreveu histórias para Spider-Verse da Marvel e Doctor Who da BBC.
Faridah é uma ávida bebedora de chá, colecionadora de canecas estranhas e licenciada em Literatura Inglesa por uma universidade na Escócia, tendo também um mestrado em Estudos de Shakespeare pelo King's College, em Londres. Quando não está a tecer contos sombrios, Faridah pode ser encontrada a tocar o seu violoncelo e a examinar os significados mais profundos em filmes originais do Disney Channel.
