Euny Hong é jornalista e autora com projeção internacional. Euny formou-se na Universidade de Yale, em Filosofia. Antes de se mudar para Nova Iorque, em 2012, viveu em Paris durante seis anos, tendo sido editora na France 24, a "CNN francesa", e colunista no Financial Times Weekend. Passou a sua infância entre os EUA e a Coreia, tendo ainda vivido ainda em Frankfurt e Berlim. É fluente em inglês, francês, alemão e coreano.
