Ervin Laszlo foi indicado duas vezes para o Prémio Nobel da Paz. O Dr. Laszlo recebeu o Prémio da Paz do Luxemburgo, o Prémio Internacional Mandir da Paz em Assis, e o Prémio da Paz Goi do Japão. Foi reconhecido por um júri internacional solicitado pela revista OOOM no 28.º lugar entre as cem pessoas mais inspiradoras do mundo.
É editor do prestigiado periódico World Futures: The Journal of New Paradigm Research, fundador e presidente do grupo de reflexão internacional, o Clube de Budapeste, fundador e presidente do The Laszlo Institute of New Paradigm Research, e presidente do The Wisdom Council da nova plataforma da Internet, People Together.
É autor de mais de cem livros que foram traduzidos em vinte e quatro línguas, incluindo Princípios de Sabedoria, juntamente com quase quatro centenas de estudos e artigos. Vive nas colinas toscanas da costa mediterrânica da Itália.
