É autora de três livros e fundadora da Kazoo, uma revista norte-americana que inspira as meninas dos 5 aos 10 anos a serem fortes, inteligentes e fiéis aos seus princípios, nomeada para o National Magazine Award de 2017.
Durante quase duas décadas, escreveu para revistas como a Self, Glamour, Golf for Women e Women’s Sports & Fitness. Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Aniston e Sheryl Crow são algumas das celebridades que entrevistou ao longo da sua carreira, tendo escrito artigos sobre saúde, fitness, nutrição e psicologia.
É mãe de duas filhas e vive em Brooklyn, Nova Iorque.
