Eric Ambler

Eric Ambler (1909–1998) começou a sua carreira de escritor no início dos anos 30 e rapidamente estabeleceu a reputação de autor com uma extraordinária profundidade e originalidade. É muitas vezes creditado como o inventor do romance de espionagem moderno. John le Carré descreveu-o como «a fonte da qual todos bebemos».
