Enrique Sánchez Abulí é um dos mais importantes argumentistas espanhóis de banda desenhada, recebeu o Grande Prémio do Salón del Cómic de Barcelona, pelo conjunto da sua obra. Abulí iniciou a sua carreira de argumentista nos anos 60, na revista Hazañas Bélicas. Mas o mais importante do seu trabalho na BD foi feito ao lado de Jordi Bernet, com quem colaborou em diversas histórias, mas sobretudo na série Torpedo, que valeu à dupla o Prémio para Melhor Livro Estrangeiro no Festival de Angoulême de 1986.
