Elisabeth Kübler-Ross
Elisabeth Kübler-Ross [1926–2004] was the first major driving force behind a new way of treating terminally ill patients. Her work was crucial to the functioning of hospices and palliative care centers, to bioethics, and to the study of near-death experiences. She graduated in Medicine from the University of Zurich and specialized in Psychiatry at Manhattan State HospitalShe conducted research at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and taught at the University of Chicago. She was awarded a star in...
