Elaine Feeney é uma escritora irlandesa que tem publicado poesia, teatro e ficção. Ensina na Universidade de Galway.
O seu romance de estreia ganhou vários prémios e foi escolhido como um dos dez melhores livros do ano pelos jornais The Guardian e The Observer. Os seus contos foram publicados em vários jornais e revistas, entre os quais a famosa Paris Review e o Irish Times.
Como Construir Um Barco esteve na shortlist do melhor romance do ano na Irlanda em 2023 e recebeu várias nomeações para prémios, entre as quais a do Booker Prize em 2023.
