António da Costa Neves is originally from Grândola and resides in Almada. He holds a degree in History from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon. His works, mostly published by Saída de Emergência, have earned him several literary awards. The novel... My fault!, Paul Harris Award – 2007, and the novel Not even in dreams, winner of the Manuel Teixeira Gomes Revelation Prize – 2006, were selected, in 2010 and 2021, respectively, as reference works for the National High School Reading Competition, and AdamastorThe account of Camões's visit to the Island of Mozambique was the subject of a seminar at the University of Coimbra and a conference at the Complutense University of Madrid.
