Dulce Costa nasceu em 1972, em Angola, e veio para Portugal aos 3 anos de idade. Licenciada em Engenharia Eletrotécnica, concluiu mestrado e doutoramento na mesma área, e foi professora durante 26 anos no Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal. Hoje, continua a ensinar – mas de uma forma distinta: dedicada à saúde e ao bem-estar através da Macrobiótica. Apaixonou-se pelo tema após um problema de saúde e estudou com Francisco Varatojo no antigo Instituto Macrobiótico de Portugal. Criou a Escola de Saúde Integral Mil Grãos, onde dá consultas de Orientação Alimentar e de Estilo de Vida e orienta workshops de Culinária Macrobiótica, ajudando milhares de pessoas a aprenderem a comer de forma saudável, consciente e em harmonia com o corpo e o planeta.
